I am thrilled to be part of the Sugar Maple Nature School team as a kindergarten teacher. I am passionate about teaching young children through an inquiry-based learning process in an outdoor environment. I strive to instill a love of learning in young children by sparking their curiosity, encouraging critical thinking, problem solving skills and creativity. I find it most rewarding to guide students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences that create opportunities for investigation, questions, exploration and discovery. 

I have over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, most recently as a nature-based 4K teacher for the past 4 years. My family lives in Waubeka and enjoys being outdoors whenever we have an opportunity. I have 3 children, 2 cats, 1 dog and 1 guinea pig. We love exploring together, biking, fishing, canoeing and new adventures!
