Jesse has experience as a high school science teacher with a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. His experience includes leading and developing curricular content for various instructional modalities, including the flipped classroom model, project based learning, and mastery learning and he hopes to be able to offer insight into similar pedagogies employed at Sugar Maple Nature School. Prior to becoming an educator, he earned a BS in Biochemistry at UW-Madison, and worked for 8 years in the pharmaceutical development industry. As a project manager, he became adept at setting long-term goals, establishing priorities, and monitoring progress toward achieving objectives. This leadership experience help develop qualities essential for guiding and facilitating productive discussions, resolving conflicts, and fostering collaboration among team members. Jesse lives with his wife and two children in Allenton.
