Empower the Future! Make a donation today.
Pushing the boundaries of public education comes with its challenges, especially when it comes to funding.
Why do you need additional funding?
While state aid supports our status as a tuition-free public charter school, the initial costs of launching and expanding, as well as losses from serving a majority of students who open enroll from other districts, significantly outstrip the per pupil funding provided by the state. Receiving approximately 20% less funding per student compared to our neighboring public schools, we remain undeterred in our commitment to providing an unparalleled educational experience rooted in nature.
To continue to flourish as a nature-based, tuition-free public school option, we rely on the philanthropic giving of families, businesses, and foundations, along with all those who support our mission. We invite you to be a part of our journey, to be a catalyst for change in education. Thank you for standing with us as we continue to create a learning environment where every day is an adventure and every lesson is a step toward a brighter future.
Giving Seeds of Legacy
We’re seeking both small and large donors to help us grow Sugar Maple Nature School and ensure that outdoor, nature-based education thrives for generations to come. Every gift—no matter the size—helps us expand our programs, improve our facilities, and provide more children with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences in nature.
Together, we can inspire the next generation through exploration & the love for the outdoors!
Support Our Growth in a Big Way
If you’re interested in making a significant contribution to support our nature school’s mission and expansion, we’d love to connect with you directly. Large donations can have a transformative impact, helping us create meaningful educational experiences and grow our programs. Please reach out to us to discuss how your generosity can shape the future of our school and the children we serve.
Together, we can make a lasting difference!

“When people ask me what the school is like I always tell them, it’s a pretty magical place to go to school. Not only is my child receiving a great education, but he’s also getting a bucket full of happy memories.”
