With a love of the outdoors, Cynthia Wolski feels most at home when exploring nature – be it picnicking, hiking, or simply resting under an old oak tree with her wife, 3 children, and dog. Her passion for the outdoors goes beyond leisure; it is a core part of her identity and professional mission. Her undergraduate degree in Forestry with an emphasis on Outdoor Recreational Resource Management from Oregon State University equipped her to understand and appreciate natural ecosystems.
Cynthia's desire to cultivate a love of nature in others led her to further her education with an MBA in accounting, providing financial expertise to organizations that connect people with the natural world. She found a home at Sugar Maple Nature School, not just for her own three children, but to contribute directly. She serves on both the Finance Committee and the Governance Council. In these roles, she blends her financial knowledge with her love of the outdoors, guiding the school's budgetary and curricular decisions.
Ultimately, Cynthia is dedicated to inspiring the next generation to become thoughtful, informed stewards of our environment. Through her work and personal endeavors, she advocates for a deeper connection with nature, ensuring a sustainable future for all.
